The opal shown is 11.55 cts, natural fine crystal opal from the Andamooka mining area in Australia. This same opal, from the same opal mine, same material, and type was given to the Queen by the Australian government. The opal is encased in .55 cts of E/F white round diamonds in an 18K gold setting.
